Beyond Reasonable Doubt: Building the Trusted Evidence Standard for AI in Audit

Every audit firm is asking the same question right now: how do I prove the output is right? As AI moves from experiment to application, the firms getting it right aren't chasing the flashiest tools, they are building on a trusted, verified data layer first, and designing agentic workflows around it that hold up under ISA scrutiny.

Join Us for Circit Connects 2026

Following the success of last year's event, we are delighted to invite you to Circit Connects 2026.

What will we be discussing on the day?

For this edition of Circit Connects, we want to move past the generic "AI in audit" discussion to talk about the things actually keeping auditors up at night:

- Building agentic workflows with ISAs in mind - what it takes to design the workflows that stand up to methodology and regulatory scrutiny and that produce outputs that are consistent and defensible

- Key underlying components - What to look for internally and externally to ensure reliability, security and longevity.

- 'Tech fatigue' - With new internal and external tools evolving every month, how can firms ensure they are maximising existing technology and implementing with realistic full portfolio coverage in sight.

- Culture first, not technology first - why the firms getting traction start with people and process, not tooling.

- Updates from Circit, industry collaboration initiatives and integration updates.

We'll ground this in a live look at agentic workflows in practice on Circit, but the conversation won't be centred on the platform alone. We will also feature a candid, auditor-led panel with a perspective on how firms are building flows and how they work in practice.

We believe the trust bar for AI in audit needs to be set higher, not lower. It all starts with the correct data underpinning all AI initiatives. Join audit leaders from across the UK for a straight-talking session on what "trusted" actually means in practice, with methodology and regulatory justification in mind.

Who should join?

If your role is leading the audit function, you are involved in technology and innovation, or you support methodology and technical aspects of audit engagements, this afternoon will be a must-attend for you.

Who will you hear from?

The Circit team, your fellow auditors and key representatives from leading firms. We will announce all speakers soon.
